I am currently waiting at the North Carolina airport to get on my flight to the Bahamas! I was lucky enough to see my first snow storm landing in the NC airport, it was so pretty!

It has definitely been a LONGG journey from Honolulu to North Carolina alone. I was overwhelmed with problems all at once when boarding my flight to NC. I almost missed my flight because I was told that I had too much luggage, and had to re-pack my entire carry on luggage at lightening speed! In the process of doing so, I received a call from my SAS friend from UHH who had some bad news that her flight got cancelled to the Bahamas today because of heavy snow in Georgia where she was scheduled to have a brief layover, and will not be leaving LAX until at the earliest tomorrow night. :( Meaning I will be in the Bahamas alone for tonight.

At first I was really overwhelmed and was FREAKING OUT! But I've calmed down and am looking at this experience has something positive and as great opportunity for adventure! I was fortunate to meet some really cool SAS girls at my terminal!

I am about to board my flight to Nassau, so I will check back then!
